count down.

You never realize how much you want to do and how much there is to do in this city, until there's no time left to do it. Chris and I leave for Texas in a week and two days. I'm coming back of course, but there's so much we wanted to do together that we never remembered or had the energy to do. Now we're stressing to make time for it all. This would all be simpler of course if I didn't have to work 40 hours a week. Somedays, I really resent people who easily get by without working. Everyday I feel like I can only eat a $.67 bagel for lunch because I won't make rent if I indulge anymore than that. Then again the fact that I stick with a job that pays me minimum wage is my own fault.

I always seem to end up complaining about my job, huh?

Well, today I saw, and pet, a dachshund. So that was good. A little good news there for ya.

I'm not really sure what else to say today, so I shall leave you with a picture of my dad circa 1970 ish...
he's so handsome isn't he?
